“PASADA 2000” IN ACTION

  Dapitan City – People from all over the globe celebrate the season of Christmas to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ in December. An eminent activity frequently enhances the ‘Spirit of Yuletide’. Pasko sa Dapitan (PASADA) 2000 is again spectacle to the visitor who came to Dapitan for a short vacation.

Lights in various colors, different design of lanterns is the efficacy of the local government of Dapitan alluring to the residents and to the people who come across the city.

The assembled ‘Revolving Giant Christmas Tree’ at the Plaza installed and embellish with Christmas ornaments is the most interesting that most people wanted to witness.

The PASADA 2000 was formally opened on the third day of December, which was attended by Mayor Joseph Cedrick Ruiz, assisted by the city government officials and employees.

It is observed presently, people of different status are now crowded together at the plaza of Dapitan every night for their social leisure’s.
